How is it that we ""are in our heads"" and forgetting our deep yet subtle connection to our planet and great sustainer? Everything in our world is basically cyclical and that we humans are embedded within all these cycles that are taking place around us, yet - without us noticing.

We are instead, increasingly caught in the corporate treadmill of slash and burn and ‘get it now without looking at the consequences of our actions.’ This appears to be what western society is basing its economics and its life on.

Fortunately, more and more people are waking up to what is happening today.

The TPPA - Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement has become a large trigger that after many rallies along Queen St in Auckland and other NZ cities, New Zealanders are now realising that this is a gigantic global corporate agenda to steal NZ’s sovereignty as well as our collective future.

The TPPA has by default become a change agent to shock people out of their complacency to realise that we are in a critical situation to lose our sovereignty.

Yet, just like the refugee crises spreading into Europe and elsewhere, once people know what is going on, the Europeans are opening their hearts and homes to all the refugees who are scrambling to find a place of safety and security, away from the war torn Middle East.

When we as humans show that we care and start working together we become a synergistic force for good and when we allow our humility to be expressed we see that we have a deep connection to fellow human beings …. and this shows that we are capable of doing many compassionate things to care for fellow human beings who are suffering from a wide range of debilitating challenges.

In discussing her recent documentary Christianne van Wijk, cites an example of the microcosm is of Robyn McCurdy a leading NZ permaculture teacher here as well as globally, who ‘plugs’ people into their garden, deeply into the soft verdant soil and through a process of imagination and enthusiasm germinates the imagination of young and old to realise that we can sprout and grow both veggies, food and consciousness, at our back door step out into the fields of the community - that becomes a powerful movement and resource towards a sustainable future.

That once you make that first effort for instance to engage in community gardening and get your hands into the soil you end up being drawn to it, because you are obtaining both physical and emotion sustenance, from being in the ‘field’ of food production and community.

This interview covers plant medicine and the psychological healing of clearing out the shadow of your being, so that we illuminate all unresolved trauma and issues that we have carried around in us at a cellular level and by transmuting this shadow, we can go forward holding no ’stuff’ in our body, and thus be able to co-create and manifest a new conscious reality.

The process of forgiveness is seen as critical - this is an important procedure as it can clear the slate - of ourselves and thus affect the people around us.

Christianne shares that practicing what we preach is one thing, yet that we acknowledge our failure when we do not walk our talk is also challenge for us all. That picking ourselves back up when we fall short and sometimes in spectacular ways, makes us dig deeper into our inner ourselves. So we have to forgive ourselves when we fail and accept the situation for what it is when falling short of the mark, that the imperative is to ‘get back up on our horse.’

Covering how do we express ourselves the moment we wake up in the morning? How do we greet the day - are we up or down? Being honest with ourselves because we all have our moments!

How do we deal with reality?   Experiencing the dark night of the soul, coming up against our shadow and breaking out of being a victim - as well as having to climb out of ’survival mode’  - how do we do it, whilst the Neo-liberal economic system of survival of the fittest, plays havoc with families across the board. With children to care for and educate, many people rely on ‘mainstream media MSM to inform them, when it’s the MSM that is misinforming and censoring the news that makes it even more difficult for families to negotiate their way through life, and thus many remain totally entrenched ‘in the matrix’ and not even know that they are anchored in it.

Thinking that fluoride and GMOs and GE is good, that the TPPA will save us, that the banking systems is the best we can have, that supermarket produce is ok …   that with having a job, paying the rent and bills, by keeping us totally distracted with TV news - traumatising us with death and war - it keeps people in a state of apprehension that many are too tired by days end to study what is the big picture about, then do something  about it.

The need for a universal basic income (see the film)  plus have enough money to start a basic garden - eating your own produce, becoming more healthy and more empowered and confident and more consciousness resulting in a clearer mind to see what is REALLY going on …

Christianne stated many times that a universal basic income is an imperative for all of society. That we need to language this in daily life.

This is a wide ranging interview that covers many inner questions to why is it that we are allowing ourselves to become easily led by economic factors that at the same time is taking our freedoms and by default our children’s future away.

This interview is also gentle yet determined reminder that by defaulting to the status quo in our life choices is to the detriment of the human family and our society as a whole.  It is time to wake up to the increasing loss of choice and to the truth of what it is to be human living in conscious community, co creating a future based on shared values of goodwill, cooperation and being sovereign.
