Jeff is a gifted New Zealand composer and musician, especially in marrying the pan pipes with electronic synthesizers.

Can a new ‘conscious’ political party come into being from the grass roots up and take a large majority of New Zealanders with them to reshape our political landscape as well as revitalise our cultural aspirations?

NZ was once the envy of the world, as many New Zealanders owned their own homes as well as had a stake in a large number of co-operatives, mutual insurance societies, trust banks, building societies plus liquor and hotel trusts. Today - all gone.

We were once seen as a fair country where everyone basically would get a good deal. To many overseas countries, we in NZ were seen as more egalitarian, as well as a moral compass for good and we were known as being charitable.

So what are the key ingredients to governance and self governance so that we can all take our place within the context of a participative and an anticipatory democracy where we as a 'conscious' communities come together to cooperatively shape our entire nation.

How would a ‘new manifestos’ look when pulling all the differing threads from left, right and centre, into one coherent, dynamic and synergistically, resourceful whole?

This 50 minute energetic interview covers:

The challenges of a country that in many differing ways is fragmenting and at its fringes becoming close to being dysfunctional. From obesity, to children going to school hungry, expensive housing to health problems, youth suicide, to homelessness, the breaking down of family units, to many social issues.

Systemic failure becoming everywhere,  Secretive Trade Agreements the TTPA. The Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement. Security and Surveillance issues.

Banking. That NZ is basically controlled by overseas banking interests.

Monetary policy is over ruling elected MP’s who once in Parliament have to follow the party line.  It is a continuous problem that no one large party is prepared to come out and truthfully state that so many things are wrong and are not working for the common good.

The Awareness Party is about calling this out, by educating the electorate and the nation as a whole.

This will lead to the eventual elimination of political parties and instead have people elected as servants, as the Westminster system is totally outmoded and does not work. As an adversarial system, political party members are always endeavouring to put each side down, instead of finding innovative win win ways to build on what the other is offering up. They instead govern by arguing with each other, point scoring all the way…

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
~ Buckminster Fuller

Lisa is inspired by the design, structures, systems, cycles and processes of nature, as embodied in a tree and uses the example of a tree to describe the organisational principles of how it grows and the ecological context of how it is sustains itself.

Subjects covered in this interview:

Binding Citizens Referendums. People representing people not parties.

Grass roots organisations across NZ and what has happened to the grassroots? How can we reactivate localised cells and clusters of cells, joining together in a network across the country.

Neo Liberalism is a major issue, because money is king … being based on ‘new’ liberal economics equalling money as more important than people.

Taking power back from the corporations by focussing on economic policy - halting private banks from creating money.

Supporting small to medium business is key.

New Zealanders are invited to use the information from the Awareness Party website and share it under their umbrella of tools and systems to get out in the community and form little cells and clusters of cells and communicate and language what the Awareness Party wishes to share and do.

We are one people on one planet and everyone is doing their best for their children.

These are the 7 Principles of The Awareness Party.

Oneness of all life: one people on one planet
Awareness of the earth (Papatuanuku), and the consequences of our lifestyle
Kindness in thoughts, words, and actions
Compassion for all living things in all situations
Self responsibility for everything we do, say, and experience
Balance in all areas of society and the environment
Operating within communities and groups is the way for humanity to move forward

These 7 principles cover all areas of environmental and social responsibility, human interaction, and decision making.

That in todays neoliberal economic policies of growing the economy they are rapidly shrinking the environmental integrity of our planet, causing the build up of gigantic repercussions.

That we need to address the Rights of Nature and have them enshrined in law here in NZ. That the Awareness Party is Now the New Deep Green Party of New Zealand.

As we harvest more trees, catch more fish, water more pastures and build more homes we must remember: we thrive with permission of a forgiving and productive environment. Without that we’d be as inhospitable as one of our sub-Antarctic Islands or a sinking atoll.

This interview covers many more urgent matters about our individual and collective future.

Morphic resonance comes up to encourage all people talking, thinking and visualising our country as a better place …  'getting NZ to be a world leader - Where we once were.'

A very well articulated and passionate interview with Lisa.
