Co author and compiler of the book ‘Carbon Neutral by 2020 with Quentin Atkinson; this has had superb reviews in this country, we hear how quickly it came together with a large number of expert contributors laying out most of the possibilities for NZ to become truly a sustainable green country by 2020.

As a psychologist she notes that humans need to belong and have warm human relationships, and be effective by doing something successfully that validates us and have the integrity to feel that we can be who we are, (or who I am).

Working in groups of people such as Transition Towns can really validate oneself and give feelings of belonging.

Niki as a tireless worker for social justice with loads of enthusiasm, lays out possibilities to engage in social, political and especially ecological change and inspires us all to never give up!
